Description
When we lived in Ecuador, we'd drive to the base of Cotopaxi in the Andes Mountains about 50 km south of Quito, where we lived. It was fun to go up to the snow line to play in the snow but what would make the trip even more memorable would be to see a herd of wild horses running free on the high plains. What a beautiful sight. In honor of those beautiful horses, I named this painting Running Free.
PS I used a reference photo for this horse that I found online and would love to know who the photographer is so that I could give proper credit. It's such a lovely capture!
