Artist's Description
While driving along the Virginia portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway my husband and I came upon this beautiful little rock church. It’s on the national register of historic places and is located at mile post 192 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in scenic southwestern Virginia. They still hold services in this church at 10:30 every Sunday morning. Services are conducted every Sunday of the year, and visitors are always welcome. They cordially invite people to worship with them regardless of their church affiliation. This church is one of the original “Rock Churches” founded in the 1920s.
