Description
As I was dropping inks on my YUPO canvas I saw Tulips beginning to form. So, true to my nature, I decided to go with the flow and bring out the tulips in an abstract form. I love the vibrancy of the colors and the haphazardness of the tulip placement. I named it Last Tulips of Spring because, to me, it looks like they are almost ready to wilt. But, I just wanted to enjoy them for one more day. This painting was created using alcohol inks and encaustics.
This painting received special honor of being chosen for the “Best of the Best” section of the WFS homepage. I got the following message from the administrator of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Group I’m both humbled, honored and thrilled!
“You are to be congratulated on your achievement of getting your beautiful piece of artwork chosen to be featured in our “Best of the Best” section of our homepage. This is truly an honor to be selected for this special feature. If your works are featured, it is always an honor, but this honor is above and beyond what one sees most of the time. It is excellently done and presented and deserves a special place on our homepage. Happy sales to you till we meet again.”
