Description
This house was the residence of Captain Thomas Edwards Hart. He settled on this land in 1817 and for whom Hartsville was named. This is is in Kalmia Gardens located in Hartsville, Sc. Itβs a beautiful and tranquil place filled with the history of Hartsville. It is open daily. The gardens were established in 1930βs by Mrs. David R Coker on the land, which had become a neglected dump. The gardens have an abundance of Azaleas, rhododendrons and dogwoods.
